Hi! I'm back from the dead. Kinda. School has started up again, which means my absences from the computer will be frequent and long. x_x But enough about my "woe is me" discussion, more about this piece! I drew this around the same time I drew "Burning Man" (yeah... that long ago XD), so it's kinda old. But I started it, and I wanted to finish it eventually! This is pretty much portraying how I pictured Bella's reaction to Reneesme's "gift". As much as I think Reneesme is an abomination and a freak of nature, I still hold a small amount of feelings for her. She's kinda cute... even though she jumps and walks and talks like a weird baby/adult/scottishseamonster-thing XD. I kinda speed-painted this one, so it's sloppy and it still has pencil marks in it. Don't be harsh on critique *g* I did experiment with some colorful shading though! Yayme!  I also experimented with shading techniques used by =Noiry. She just recently put a tutorial up about Painter X, which was really helpful, and had a lot of good tips for shading and coloring! Yes, I am aware that Reneesme's hair is supposed to be curly! I'm still working on how to color curly hair- so in the meantime, people are going to have relatively flat hair XD I'M ALSO AWARE THAT RENEESME LOOKS LIKE A MINI-PERSON 1. I've never drawn children and did not have reference (remember- this was a quick drawing) 2. I imagined her looking mature for her age. D: So yeah. Hopefully I'll be getting more stuff up soon. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
