Heyyyyy!
Wow this is the first upload in.....forever pretty much. XD Started this painting yesterday. It's a portrait of a character of mine. I was really determined to digitally paint something somewhat realistic. It's not totally realistic, and there are several flaws that I'm aware of (especially the fact that her skin looks like it's 235030598 different colors and that none of the background colors are reflected in her hair...etc) BUT! all aside, I'm pretty happy with it. The scarf was speed-painted, btw, so pay no attention to it. XD This took 2 days, about 10 hours total. All in Photoshop. I would like to give credit to  for the background. <3Enjoy Character (c) |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Thanks. I was really excited to finally have time to draw. Yesterday I sat and did this for 6 hours straight. Every time I looked at the little clock on my comp screen, an hour had passed. XD It was insane. That last time I did that was like.....eight months ago.
